Jack wanted to help me clean up so I let him try to vacuum. He was so cute trying to help. The vacuum was almost to heavy for him to push but he still tried. He is growing up so fast..

Crib

Jack loves Ava so much that he climbed in her crib to play with after we set it up. Jack is always asking to hold her and feed her, he just loves being her big brother.

I just had to post these pictures. Jack and Ava both love this jumperoo as you can see they both jump until they fall asleep. I thought everyone would get a little laugh at the small moments we have each day with the kids..

6 month pictures

Today I went and got Ava's 6 month pictures take. She is such a ham. I just wish they always were this easy when trying to photograph. I have to tell Jack he will get a treat to get his picture taken when we go.

Yesterday was the 4th of July and we had an exciting day. Danny left in the morning at 6:30 am for Colorado and we sure missed him yesterday. SO since Danny was going to be gone for the 4th I decided to have a small get together which usually turns into a bigger one then I plan for. I asked all the ladies in the ward who have spouses deployed or gone to come over a BBQ, swim and then go watch the fireworks on post. everything was going great but the weather here is so unpredictable and it started pooring rain. So as you can imagine we all made a mad dash inside. Needless to say it was a disappointment since the swimming had to stop and the kids all had to stay inside for a while. The weather let up just enough for the firework show to take place on post.
I really enjoy the 4th. It gives us time to reflect on what a great country we live in and the freedoms we enjoy. The 4th is also a time to remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy our freedom and those who continue to serve this country. I also think of the sacrifice my husband makes each and everyday for our family. He serves this country sacrificing his time, energy and sometimes the comforts of home to provide a better place of our families to live. I am ever so grateful for all he does for us. I hope all of you had a wonderful 4th and enjoyed the celebration of this great nation.

Jack decided to dress himself after he got out of the pool this afternoon. I had to post the pictures because it was too cute. He still doesn't understand to pull his shirt out of his underwear or his pants.When he uses the bathroom he comes out looking like this most of the time if he comes out with any pants on.
